I have just started preparing for this and realise it’s going to be quite difficult! Have bought some oats for breakfast which I am going to prepare with water, but no sugar so might not taste too good. Have bought some organic local butter so I can have buttered toast, and have found some preserve made with apple juice and not sugar, but the pectin was from citric acid and citrus fruits don’t grow in the UK. Have decided to start by making crepes filled with veg as you can use local flour and eggs and milk instead of water.
Oil is a big problem, I see that someone has recommended some UK produced sunflower oil but can’t find it here in Bristol. You can find UK rapeseed oil in a glass bottle but it’s not organic. Hmmmm
